I Met The Church

This is one I’ve been typing on for probably about a couple of months now. Since about when I posted that other one in February or so. And it’s been on this as a draft for about a week now. I’m going to try to publish it today.

About December of 2023 I first met them. It was these like missionaries. They were pretty much regulars at the place I was working at. I didn’t really know much about them but I figured they were probably from some kind of a church. They had name tags but I didn’t really like go up to them and read what it said or nothing like that. And they were dressed in formal wear (rather attractive if I remember correctly). But other than that, I didn’t really know that much about them.

They gave me a card that had the name and everything, and a number to text them. And the address. Oh and in one of the first few messages, I messed up the address’s road name in 2 ways: 1 I put the wrong like town name for the first word of the address, and 2 I put an extra letter on the second word making it a mild expletive! I caught the second one, fortunately lol, but uh, I guess the other one didn’t really matter because they know what the address is.

Moving on, I found out quickly that they weren’t perfect, but it was ok, because all I really need is adequate, and they appeared to be that, so that was good enough.

By the way, I’m going to do a thing later about like, the few things that they might be wrong about. It’s really pretty small and most of them don’t matter that much. And AFAIK they really are, just decent people overall! From what I can tell. Of course I can always be wrong about a person, place or thing being GOOD. If I tell you one is BAD that’s a completely different discussion, but good I can be wrong about, because I’m going to consider anyone good by default.

Oh and another thing I thought about, some time between the time they started coming in and when I talked to them, ok was these 2 guys who appeared to be somewhere about the same age as those missionaries or so, and I dunno if they did it on purpose (for whatever reason) or if the computer just gave the first one a 765 because he was on kiosk 7 and the counter was at 65, and then his friend across from him on number 6 ,got what you could call one hell of an order number, with the counter advancing to 66 and all.

But it was 2 drinks (each was each order of those), a coworker kinda handed them to me and said hand those out, those guys were headed to the pickup counter and I asked if these were for them (I hadn’t read either number yet) I said 765 then I looked at the other one and I think I made some kind of comment like “well hell!” or something like that. And like a few minutes later I looked to where they had been coming from (which was well away from the two kiosks they placed the orders at) and those missionaries were back there. I didn’t really think much about it for a while (probably because I hadn’t met them yet so I kinda “didn’t care” I guess), but I later remembered it and wrote about it, and I later mentioned it to them (I had been planning to do that for a while).

Yeah those kiosks can give you some funky order numbers, all 4 of them can! That middle one is register number 8, it can give you a bunch of them, such as 869! (And (at least in some cases) I envy their partner, lmao…) And how about 840, it’s DOUBLE 420! You not just taking a little toke or 2, you getting completely totally wasted!!!! Yeah and I forget all the others…. But it happens all the time. There’s ways to do it on purpose (especially with 2 people doing it, and you would pretty much need to go and look at the numbers on the screen behind the counter) but it can happen randomly, it does all the time!

(If they were trying to like score, that was dumb, boys!!! Those chicks are working for a Jewish carpenter right now, and he doesn’t like them doing stuff like that. You can talk to them all you want, but you ain’t getting laid! Just forget about it… they are doing other things right now….find someone else… But, again this is IF, it could have easily just been random, happens all the time…)

They had a book that I have always had some interest in. Because ok, I believe that He did do what they allege He did, get up and go to other places where humans were. Because I believe that is what the real Higher Power (which I believe Him to be) WOULD do.

To this day I haven’t really looked that deep into the allegations about the plates and all that stuff. I did a little, but I had kinda already done it another way, I figured out that the book’s creation had a net positive effect on humankind, therefore unless you can prove certain specific things about early church members, and would have to be pretty extreme like if they murdered someone to “silence” them or some kind of stuff like that. Or prove that leading people to Him is bad, and I proved LONG AGO that it is NOT inherently bad (I’ve been agnostic before by the way). Or maybe a few other things, but in general my theory is pretty solid. But again, I haven’t really looked at the other that much.

It took a while to actually like join the church (but that’s pretty normal for me in general), but I had been going to the like book study things for awhile. And I still haven’t been able to find a way to pay a tithe… and by the way, I KNOW that church is NOT greedy or money grubbing, I am pretty much sure of that. Because I told them (a bunch of them, a bunch of different people) that I wanted to do it like right then, can we do this, can we do that, can we slip it under the door, etc. And I am positive someone would have found a way (especially with me making 100 percent effort) if it was important to them.

But yeah I’ve been to plenty of them now, I’m kind of on a hiatus right now, I’m going to go into some things in another post, but I still consider them 100% positive. Whoever has been doing the fk’d up shh wanted me to think it was them but I know it wasn’t, but I will go into that in the next post which will be directly about that. Oh and I’m still reading the book and always will, and anyone who doesn’t like it can kneel down and do me!!! But again, I’ll go into that other in a different post.

But yes I have been to plenty of the church services. One time I was somehow thinking about something inappropriate at church (I wasn’t trying to but it happened) and it took me a while to figure out why. I thought about it, I prayed about it, I finally figured it out. It actually has 2 parts to it but first, what it was.

Ok they were talking about like asking what each person’s favorite restaurant was. And that is something that I absolutely DO NOT have a “favorite”, unless you want to say all of them (or a bunch of them) are my favorite, and that kind of defeats the purpose. Seriously, you can name one major chain (again, I am not (for the most part,) using any actual names on these writings) and another one. Most likely I will like both of them about the same, or close enough. Probably close to 100% each (which means that either one would be perfectly adequate). So I really don’t “care” about it.

So my mind started thinking about like, what would I say if they call on me? And what came to mind (really the only thing that did, even as they were all telling theirs) was this old time place…ok the road the church is on, I wrote either on this or another one about how I was mixing it up with another road with a similar name (and almost put a extra letter on one, lol). Well both are actual roads, and they meat together and used to be a restaurant that had this cute sign about how good the food was.

Up until I met them, I hadn’t thought about that place or any of that. I didn’t even know that place had closed down like a decade before (and I drove that road recently, the building is completely gone!)

But I kept mixing up the names (I would type the wrong one then read it later and notice) and I kinda thought of that, but I couldn’t remember eating there. I probably had some time or another, but the time I was thinking of, I wrote that I had eaten somewhere across the lake or river or whatever it is (it’s actually both lol) which has kind of a, what you could call “old name”, it was named before our slang terms existed (before the Victorian Era it was extremely taboo to discuss mature topics in polite company, and writing it down could seriously get you in trouble in that day), kinda like the name Dick. The town name was probably someone’s last name most likely.

And when you read it back (saying it isn’t the same, it has to be read in some way, either paper or electronic), which I can’t believe I had never done (and I’m positive I have eaten in that town plenty of times), either something I had written/typed/etc or that someone else had), “I ate in (town-name)” because when I proofread what I wrote, I IMMEDIATELY started thinking (and typed a reply about) very explicit content regarding slippery tunnels (lmao, if I put the name of the town you would shhh yourself), and what it tasted like and a bunch of stuff like that…

And it’s not like I didn’t KNOW already that the town had a name like that, that could accidentally (or deliberately if that’s what the person is trying to do) do stuff like that, and you kinda have to be careful referencing it (kinda like if you know someone named Dick for example) But for some reason, I just didn’t know that until I read what I typed that time. I’m still trying to figure out if I have ever said it verbally to anyone, without realizing the possible implications (although they probably knew I was talking about a town and didn’t think much of it), because I really did not realize that!

But as for the time in church, and this is part 2 (part 1 was how/why it happened), ok I probably shouldn’t ever like do that on purpose probably, but, in this case, it was really perfectly G-rated because I didn’t think any further than the place itself. I was really just thinking about the place (that many of them had most likely eaten at and had fond memories of) as “a restaurant*. That’s really all, I didn’t have one (to say if they called on me), now I do!

And under no circumstances would I have (if for any reason I had mentioned the place at all) gone to that stuff. I might have POSSIBLY said something about that I couldn’t remember eating there, it just looked really good. They (someone) would have had to first of all, ask me why not, and then ask me where I had eaten, and even then, THEY (whoever) would have had to make the comments about the little place in the slippery tunnel and all that stuff, because there is no way in blazes I would have done it! Not a chance! Even if they were (which I very much doubt they would have done, especially there in church like that, this is strictly hypothetical or “what if”) saying like “…oh, you ate in…” and laughing about it etc, I would have just been like “yeah I sure did!” and that been that.

(And they would of had to be EXTREMELY inquisitive to ask me all that! That’s would be like a like interrogation or something. “Where were you? Where did you go?….” LMAO, no way they would have been that interested in where I happened to have eaten at that day… But again, it was”what if”.)

So it was actually perfectly G-rated, but they never called on me and that’s good because I wasn’t trying to, you know “do that”. I just needed something to say in case… which of course, would have started with “I dunno”. But if they pressed, that is pretty much what I would have ended up going with.

And, it wasn’t just that I didn’t have one (therefore the topic didn’t apply to me) I had pretty much no interest in it! It would have been different if it was about, for example, spouses, which I don’t have one of those either but, plan to, therefore do have a valid interest in the subject matter. But again that was pretty much G-rated, but it took me a while to figure that out.

Now OTOH, was this time I was talking to them about something or another, we were at some restaurant we used to go and I was trying to ask if something was “…a cardinal sin with y’all (meaning the church)” but I almost left out the D in cardinal (and by the way I had typed it that same way on something I typed right about then), so kinda accidentally implying, lol, doing that, with those 2 rather attractive (I think, most of them were anyway) missionaries, who are completely not supposed to you know do like anything like that, lol very inappropriate, but I was absolutely not trying to do that, I just used the wrong word, kinda like the road name and all that…

The one about the “public service” never actually happened, and couldn’t/wouldn’t on a mobile device, although it’s easy to make that error (leaving out the L in the word public) on a computer keyboard which is probably how I thought of it. Which is good to think of or “know” things like that because it helps keep you from making the mistake for real. The reason I’ve never accidentally called that thing at work for the condiments a “condom tray” lmao (and some of my coworkers are probably at least as attractive as some of those missionaries, not sure which is more, kinda like about the restraunts, both are close enough to perfect so it don’t really matter).

But yeah and then I figured out that letter is the one (the same position of the word) that…ok the church’s original name, was botched up by a eugenicist about 80 years later. Yeah those MFs (the eugenicists) not only hated people (anyone who they just decided to hate, race and poor people were only the beginning) but literally tried to exterminate them!!!

God sent Darwin because humans had been curious about HOW He created us. The USA had just ended slavery, humans were “being good and doing good” so He gave us that. And what was the first thing us humans did with that information? Eugenics! I hate to be misanthropic, but damn it! That was just messed up, and I will call my own team (humankind in this case) out the same as I will the (any, in whatever situation) other team! (Which is something that EVERYONE should ALWAYS do, by the way!!!!)

But I found out that the one who did that (don’t remember his name, I was calling him Harry P Ness lmao but I don’t think that’s right, he invented the IQ test which is actually a very good thing, just not what they were trying to do with it) but I found out that he kinda recanted some of his views regarding eugenics later. Which is what anyone should do when they figure out they were wrong about something.

Yeah some people of that time just didn’t like them because they were different from what they were used to. Like about the claim that He got up and went to other places (He DID, you can count on that!!!!) And just, like the multiple spouses thing, which is clearly a MYOFB kinda thing, EXACTLY THE SAME as if it’s 2 people of the same gender. If you don’t like it, YOU can stay the hell away from them (they probably prefer you did anyway!!!!) And it’s the same exact for that. Those who opposed them on those grounds, were 90+ percent in the wrong, in that instance of doing so!

But to be fair, it was a different time (and by the way THIS is pretty much why that’s only 90+ instead of 99.99+), and those concepts didn’t really exist for the most part, until at least the end of the 19th Century, around the time of Darwin, and a bunch of things happened, like motion pictures were invented because a couple of rich dudes made a bet about a horse (I think it was whether all hooves are ever off the ground at the same time, or something like that). Humankind was learning things pretty rapidly, compared to before that time. Computers didn’t exist yet, but that was coming down the pipeline. (Started around the 1920-30s and became heavily used during WWII. The personal computer that regular people could use, came out right when I was born.)

But no matter what, the church survived. It actually started becoming rather well accepted, right about the time the eugenicist did that to it’s name. And it also does it, like the last book and the next to last, you take the letter I from that, put it on that (oh and the one before is his father who’s name is the same as the book) so it basically implies that both father and son (in that religion) are stupid. Yeah someone really had it in for them! But like I said about eugenicists, they just hate who they want to hate. Any reason in the world is good enough for them, no matter how petty and silly it is.

And I should go ahead and point out, for the record, that this church has done a few things in it’s history that are not perfect. But it’s kinda like saying this country had slavery (and segregation, etc). Yeah it did, but the problem was fixed by an outside source so the proper thing to do is move on.

I’m not sure what would have happened if I had met them before same sex marriage (a civil right in a secular country, that they were putting material resources into keeping from innocent people, and I fully concede that it was wrong of them) was FINALLY legalized in the mid 2010s. (Should have happened before I was born if not way before!) I’ve written about that in my journal before but, long story short, I dunno. I guess the Higher Power set it up to happen so that I would meet them at a time when I could be receptive to them, is what I think happened. But I dunno.

But everything was perfect or close enough. I do and always do everything pretty much on my terms. Always! For example, when they were wanting me to do stuff like change what items I put into my body, I pretty much told them (politely but firmly) NO! And I DID NOT move forward until they not only accepted that I was going to make those decisions, but that I am basically “qualified” to. In fact I think I said something to the effect of, just consider me, under the terms of those things, to be an expert at not only that, but any subject I ever claim to be, and we’ll just do it like that. And I DID NOT ever do anything different!

And by the way, that (all that about like all that) is a great example of how ANYONE should ALWAYS join ANY group! Especially a religious one, but it really applies to any group you are thinking about, no matter what. Especially if they cannot DIRECTLY PROVE why you should do (or not do) that exact thing (whatever it happens to be), then don’t do it! And if they don’t like it then forget them!!!! Again, this applies to pretty much ANY group (possibly a few exceptions, but if so, they are extremely rare). EVERYONE (who is reasonably intelligent, as most humans are) should ALWAYS do things that way, ALWAYS!

But yes, I did everything right, they did everything right, and by the way, that is another reason I can say they are good. But I’ve actually got a list of reasons, I may even post it sometime…

But I am about done with this post. I’ve been typing it for a while (some of it is from stuff I typed a while back, I just edited and compiled).

The next one is going to be about how SOMEONE (I have no idea who, because whoever it is is a pathetic coward who hides and does things to people) didn’t like my decision to join this church, and… I’ll go into it in the next post. But for the record, it is a FEDERAL HATE CRIME to do something like that on the basis of religion, and I intend to make an example out of anyone and everyone who is in any way involved, UNLESS they tell me before it is investigated. But I’ll go into this on the next one.

And by the way, that was 100% the reason why I did not get my life together back in October!!! 100% chance I would have. I had LITERALLY STARTED TO! But then, they and I decided to move my baptism date to a few weeks, and THEN, that was when THAT bull…. started!!!!

If you (the reader) know anything whatsoever about any person or group spying on me, tampering with any item (any thing I own or am using, or audio source, etc), or putting anything about me online in any format (social media etc, if the person doesn’t put their own, it is a violation of law to “out” them, as it should be!), and you don’t turn them in (or tell me, which is what I would usually do in that situation, tell the person), then YOU ARE A PARTICIPANT, and I plan to make examples out of WHOEVER I find in the other end of that. It includes family and church, so it damn sure includes anyone else. Such as ANYONE from that screwed up restaurant I work at. And if anyone from management is involved, I will take that fkng place down! But you damn right it includes a person that just happens to work at the same place I do (but we never talk or do anything outside of there), damn right it does!

Again, ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE, who knows anything, had best tell me what you know BEFORE it is investigated, which it is about to be. Do it through this site or email I Love Decent Humans at Gmail dot com. Zero exceptions because there is zero excuse for anyone who does things like that to an innocent person such as myself.

I judge people the exact same way God does! INTENTIONAL DELIBERATE ACTIONS. I don’t give a flying F the person’s motivations, or “why” they did whatever it was. As long as it’s me on the other end, I KNOW 100% that they had zero VALID reason to, and THAT is the only thing that matters. But just because we happen to be the same (whatever attribute) doesn’t mean a thing. Every (any) sample can contain bad elements. Maybe YOU (whoever, anyone) are a bad element from the same sample as me?

But that’s enough about that on this one. The next one will be all about that subject.
