He Will Teach Them Like He Did Before!

This is mostly something I typed most of it the other day. I’m almost done with “I Met The Church” (I guess that’s what it’s name will be) I kinda typed this one on the side while doing that one.

This is most regarding things like LGBTQ and all that. He will teach them those things when He is ready to. Exactly like He did regarding RACE!

Up until about the time I was born, that church was as racist as the eugenicist who messed up it’s original name! Yeah they literally had a “whites only” policy.

But do they now? Of course not! There was a black guy speaking at one of the things I watched. I don’t remember who he was or anything, I really don’t remember much except his color, which I didn’t really notice or think much of until he made some kind of a reference to that about the church’s past, and I kinda thought about it later and figured out some of this!

Ok, about a century ago, the world was just starting to realize that the eugenics crap was effed up in many different ways. Then a crazy German MF almost destroyed the world with that nonsense, that was when it kinda became very clear! They had videos of those people he had put into those concentration camps and that kind of stuff.

The supreme court decision regarding school desegregation was I think in 54 or there about. But it didn’t just happen quick, and they knew it wasn’t going to. Those people had long held beliefs about things like that races shouldn’t mix and stuff like that, that we’d laugh at today, but those people were hell bent on it at the time. They knew they had to do it slowly, a little at the time. Then you have those other cases you can point to and say, see, it works! It’s ALWAYS easier to convince anyone to do what you want them to do, AFTER you have EVIDENCE!

By about the mid 60s it was pretty well accepted in general, even down in the Bible Belt where I’m from. Well it did take them a little longer, but they got there. All of the schools in the metro area (I’m not using actual names in these writings but it’s a major city in a southern US state) had desegregated well before I was born. By the early 70s most of them had.

(By the way, was a county over (which is considered part of the metro area now but wasn’t at the time) that was still doing that stuff well after I was born! A TV journalist did a story about it and became world renowned (for that and I think a couple of other stories, I don’t really remember) but yeah and probably some others were doing that, but they were exceptions. Most of them had done all that before I was born)

But yeah, about the church, it may have taken a little longer than it took most, but they got there. Oh and it’s not like they were the only church doing that. People in general had those beliefs at that time. It is just how things were. They had not learned those things yet. Now they have, which is WHY they now don’t, but before they had, they did!

And I bet they didn’t even realize that, if they were from this continent, they are NOT racially pure anything! Get your DNA checked if you think you are! (Actually some Americans are, but most aren’t if you’re ancestors are from here a few generations or more) Americans may have told each other not to do that, but people did what they wanted (they also did same sex, just no evidence for obvious reasons, but they did what they wanted), and good on them for doing that!!! It was nobody else’s &!#@in’ business that they did!!!! (Anyone who didn’t like it, was in the wrong.)

Or, how about this little story. Her mother was a light skinned black prostitute, her biological father was an albino white john. She passed as white so she was able to go to the white school, where everyone loved her! Especially your great grandfather! He REALLY loved her!!!! And they had y’all and lived happily ever after!

But yeah people were realizing how silly and messed up the race stuff was, and were changing. But this church, I’m trying to think of the word, but basically (and I’m not saying this is right or wrong or good or bad, just pointing out a fact) they believe in a bunch of very OLD stuff. Stuff that dates back AT LEAST a couple of hundred years, when the guy that founded the church was alive.

And as a general rule, when you are dealing with people who believe in old stuff, when you come to them with something new, they will always be a bit skeptical and like “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” and that kind of thing. You should pretty much expect it.

But they were wrong. And God showed them they were wrong, in His time. And He will do the same about the other things.

If you (the reader) are LGBTQ etc, and would prefer not to join the church until after it happens, I completely understand, and would probably do the same in your situation.

But just know that everything will be ok. The Higher Power will take care of it, exactly like He did about the other. And in the meantime, they cannot stop you from doing things like marrying whoever you choose, and things like that. Which is as it should be! The USA is a SECULAR country! Anyone who thinks it shouldn’t be, should try one of the few countries that’s not, and see how you like it!!!

But again, He will show them those things when He is ready to. And in the meantime, everything is ok.
